You register as a self-employed contractor — not as a VanManoo employee. You are responsible for your own tax, National Insurance, VAT (if applicable), and keeping your driving licence, MOT, insurance and Public Liability Insurance up to date.
You must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom. This is a legal requirement under the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. You will need to upload a valid Right to Work document — for example a UK passport, a Share Code with a Home Office reference, or a Biometric Residence Permit (BRP). Applications submitted without proof of Right to Work will be rejected.

Customers pay the balance to you directly on the moving day — by card via the VanManoo driver app OR in cash. Adding your bank details lets you accept card payments in-app; cash-only is fine too.

Once every step above is complete, VanManoo verifies your details (typically within 24 hours) and switches your profile live.
